Nauvoo Show collars

The Amazon price is the best I have found.  You will be able to make many many collars wit this much thread.  I like Size 10 for collars  gives the weight to lay down.   Over the last few months I have been making collars for senior missionaries here in Nauvoo for show collars in the show "Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo" for next years cast (2018)  I have been giving them to the sewing room.  Here are some that I have made with their patterns. 3rd tablecloth for Christmas

Image
I just finished this Tablecloth for a daughter in law.  I have posted the free crochet Diagram instructions and where to get the thread .    I use #10 thread because it is a great weight for tablecloths and not to lacy.  I use the #20 for a more lacy affect.         This Post contains affiliate links.     Thanks for viewing.  This post contains affiliate link.

Great Pattern for Tablecloth of bedspread

Image
Just finished this for a church building. I have made this twice and I really like this pattern.  It is a closed spread and works well with table cloths, alter cloths and bed spread.  If I was going to do it for a bed spread I would use and size 10 thread.   With the ability to add squares you can make it as big of as little as you want.  I love motifs for that reason.  You could also use it as a runner on top of a piano.  It really came out great.  I use a size 11  hook.         Thanks for viewing.  This post contains affiliate link.

Oblong Pineapple pattern

Image
This is a pretty little dollie that I just made for a friend.  It is a bit challenging because the two end pineapples are added on so you have to attach thread and work them and then go all around the outside after they are done.  Look at the pattern closely and you can see where to attach the yarn.  I used a size 20 and a crochet hook of size 11.  I love the pineapple stitch.  It took me about 5 days working off and on but if you were dedicated this is something that could be done in a week-end.
