Nauvoo Show collars

  The Amazon price is the best I have found.  You will be able to make many many collars wit this much thread.  I like Size 10 for collars  gives the weight to lay down.  

Over the last few months I have been making collars for senior missionaries here in Nauvoo for show collars in the show "Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo" for next years cast (2018)  I have been giving them to the sewing room.  Here are some that I have made with their patterns.

Oblong Pineapple pattern

This is a pretty little dollie that I just made for a friend.  It is a bit challenging because the two end pineapples are added on so you have to attach thread and work them and then go all around the outside after they are done.  Look at the pattern closely and you can see where to attach the yarn.  I used a size 20 and a crochet hook of size 11.  I love the pineapple stitch.  It took me about 5 days working off and on but if you were dedicated this is something that could be done in a week-end.
