Mad these 2 stuffed animals for my grand daughter.  It is not thread crocheting but close I used a size 10 crochet hook to get a tight product. I took screen shots so I didn’t have to print the patterns while I was traveling. I am going to try and post the instructions.

Working on this Motif I have 2 done and want to continue to build it.  Here is the free pattern and I  can build is as big as I want.  I like to use the size 20 thread because it will be great for a table cloth.     So here is 3 motifs add and you just keep building till you get the size you want. I think that I will make this a small table runner adding 5 more motifs. Now I have 4 motifs , it is starting to grow and looking good. Love Love Love these:     Thank for viewing.  This blog contains affiliate links.     Pattern here: https://makeanddocrew.com/free-crochet-slippers-pattern-flip-flops-sole/ I really like these and I am looking forward to wearing them in the temple.  They are made from a white flip flog from Old Navy and I love this yarn from Hobby Lobby.    We dress all in white when serving in the temple.  You can make them in any color.  The Old Navy flip flop  has enough sole to poke the wholes through.  Dollar Store flip flops are to thin. I took a measuring gauge and the end width and marked the dots 1/4 inch from the top of the flip flop.  You poke the holes at an angle then do a single crochet in each hole around with a small crochet needle I used a size 8.  It is very tight but if you do it lose it is to big.  Do 9 rounds of single crochet.   I then crocheted a heal  and added the decorative top and singled crocheted all around the last top last row to finish it off.   There ar

What makes a ruffle dollie?

I have just finished this but it was a little ruffle lying flat.  I used a 11 needle and size 20 Aunt Lydia thread.  I think that I should have used a 12 or 14 size needle and it would not have ruffled so. Here is the diagram:     This post contains affiliate links.

What thread should I use?

This is the Thread I use for all of my crochet, from table clothes to dollies.  I like buying on line because I can get enough for the whole project.  A lot of stores only carry 3 or 4 balls and I have to go back to get all I need.  I also like the size 20.  Most local stores carry size 10 which is thicker and a less lacy product is achieved.         Thanks for looking.  This blog contains affiliate links.
