Folded Star




I do these star every year for Christmas and give them away. The hardest part about the whole 3 dimensional star is finding the right type of paper and getting it cut into strips. I will try to post a picture of one. It seems that I always run to a challenge when posting pictures.

Do you always use index paper? does it have to be 30+ inches long?

Oblong Pineapple pattern

This is a pretty little dollie that I just made for a friend.  It is a bit challenging because the two end pineapples are added on so you have to attach thread and work them and then go all around the outside after they are done.  Look at the pattern closely and you can see where to attach the yarn.  I used a size 20 and a crochet hook of size 11.  I love the pineapple stitch.  It took me about 5 days working off and on but if you were dedicated this is something that could be done in a week-end.
